Session Info
Family photos are the greatest gift we can give ourselves and our family. As children grow and ask, ‘What was I like when I was younger?’ – you can show them!
Lifestyle photography is unique!
Not only does lifestyle photography capture what you look like at a certain point in time, it captures who you are. The goal is not to get stiff and posed shots with everyone looking at the camera, but to capture the true essence of your family. I use my understanding of camera equipment and natural light to create art.

I know that the thought of family photos can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be!
Don’t worry – I got this! Prior to your session date we will discuss expectations for the session and I will have answered any questions you have. Session day will be a time for connecting with your family and capturing special moments.

Emily is relaxed, fun, easy to chat with, and has a heap of ideas how to make you and your family look natural (while also highlighting all of your best features) in the photos. She's great with kids as she has such a calm demeanour, and she knows how to talk to them (helps that she's got two of her own at home!), and how to get parents to interact and get the smiles out for the photos.
